Are you able to make the gate open in to the kennel rather than out?
Dear customer, thank you for your question. Yes, the gate of our dog kennel can be opened either in or out.

How big is gap between ground & cage bottom?
There should be little to no gap. When you are wrapping the fencing around the enclosure making sure to keep the bottom of the fence on the ground and also when tieing up the fence to secure it to the frame.

Will it protect from coyotes?
I think IT SHOULD . There is no way anything can get to whatever is caged.

How do you put 2 together and will it withstand a harsh midwest winter
It’s impossible to put two of these pens together. It’s not separate panels, it’s one roll of wire wrapped around the outside. It would not withstand a harsh winter. They send a bag of plastic tie wraps and that’s what it held together with.
