Yes, it does have a lift up storage seat.

can this toy hold a 50 lb child?

Both my 4 year old and my 2 year old get on it together sometimes, making the weight around 60lbs, so yes, it can hold a 50lb kiddo.
Does the Steerling wheel actually make the front wheels turn and change direction while riding?

The steering wheel turns the wheel but only over a limited arc - about 15 degrees to either side.
Can it be left outside?

We purchased these for our grandchildren to ride and play on when they are here. They LOVE them and use their imagination when playing. It can be left outside, but it will get weathered over time.
So we don't recommend that
Is this battery operated or does it come with the charger?

It is no need battery.

Cool and fun toy crane!

This is a fun toy crane for the 3 and 5 year olds I bought it for. The first one I bought was defective but the company replaced it. So far so good. The kids love it and play with it daily!

Kid loves it.

Kid is digging all day long.
Only downside - the tool they sent sucked. Be sure you have your own or youll be there all day trying to put this together.
