Can it stick to wood floors and is it suitable for small apartment?

yes its suitable for small apartment.
Can it handle a lot of punching?

Not the same as an overhead bag which I used for years. Sufficient for an apartment. I can get up to a pretty good speed and it is excellent to develop reflexes and coordination. It serves my purpose nicely
Is it stable on carpet floor?

It can be pretty stable on carpet floor if you fill it with sand or water. Make sure you don’t attach the suction cups underneath it if you are going to put it on carpet.
